User submit: 67th Fighter Squadron a.k.a. Fighting Cocks (16 HQ Photos)

The 67th Fighter Squadron is known as the Fighting Cocks. We are out of Kadena AB, on the beautiful tropical island of Okinawa, Japan. We were established in 1941 and have been flying fighters/pursuit aircraft every since. We recently won the 2013 Raytheon Trophy which is given each year to the number one fighter squadron in the Air Force. This marks the 6th time we have won it, more than anyone else. It is basically the Stanley Cup for fighter pilots. We fly literally all over the world fighting and training with allied nations. In the past year alone the 67th has flow with tons of countries including but not limited to UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, England, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, and of course Japan. That doesn't include the times we fly "with" Russian bombers as they approach the USA still testing our responses. We work hard, get results, and light our hair on fire come Friday night. I've added a few more pics, with some of the bro's in it. If you ever want to travel to beautiful Okinawa, hit us up. It is literally the healthiest place on Earth with the clearest waters this little marble in space has to offer. (The health benefits don't really apply to us on account of our livers). I am going to send the pics in three emails to make sure they are not too large. Now I've got to get some sleep as another day of Red Flag continues tomorrow. Cocks Rule Period... and Chive On!
