User submit: hanging in the desert with 143rd Airlift wing from Quonset, RI (23 Photos)

We are the 143rd Airlift wing from Rhode Island located in Quonset RI. Our unit went and stayed in the desert to perform supply missions, humanitarian efforts and provided combat airlift support with our C-130 J stretched models. With us being one of the most efficient maintenance squadrons, we maintained above a 95% mission capability while in the desert. For such a small state, we as a family have built a high reputation and remain a bridge between Europe and the United States. All of us from the 143rd Airlift Wing love you guys from the chive and are happy that we can provide you with pictures from this deployment.
