First off let me say I am an avid reader and partaker in the website on a daily basis. Recently, I have begun working with an organization known as Vested Interest in K9s (vik9s.org). The organization raises money and provides bullet proof and stab proof vests to K9 in law enforcement and no charge to the departments. A little background, my brother is a K-9 officer, I got involved with the organization after i donated the funds to purchase a vest for his dog. The organization itself has been featured on Good Morning America and CNN to name a few media outlets. I'm sure you have a significant number law enforcement officers who read the sites regularly. I'm inquiring to see if it would be possible to promote the organization and help raise funds. If that is not possible, perhaps helping to get the word out so we can have the K-9 Officers reach out and begin the process of getting vests for the dogs. I realize this is a long shot and you probably get thousands of requests like this on a daily basis.
