When my boyfriend was in Afghanistan last year I introduced him to the Chive. It is now his favorite website ever. This year for his birthday I bought him a Chive shirt and for Veterans day I bought our room mate one also. on 11/12/13 my boyfriend proposed to me. I know he would love to see us on the chive as a little surprise. Steven is an infantry man stationed at Ft Stewart and a combat veteran. PTSD awareness is a big thing for us because him and his fellow battle buddies have become far to familiar with the horrors PTSD brings to them. I got my PTSD awareness shirt in honor of my love and it has been featured on quite a few pages on instagram. If you can put any of these pictures up I know it would bring a smile to his face. US Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay, Oregon is one of very few Surf Stations in the Coast Guard. Meaning, we operate on a day to day basis in Heavy weather and Surf conditions. The boat pictured is a 47' Motor life boat, Capable of 30' seas and 20' Surf. We train any chance we get so we can be at the top of our game in case duty calls.
