The two pictures in the snow were a shoot we did in February with the M777 155mm howitzer.  It was about 10 degrees F that day, but we Kept Calm and Chived On all day. The rest are the day of the burn.  Over two days we fired 500 rounds of 105mm ammunition and 150 rounds of 155mm ammunition.  Our unit is instructors at the Army National Guard Regional Training Institute at Fort McCoy, WI.  We train Soldiers in Field Artillery skills from all over the US.  Many of our students are fellow Chivers we exchange many "Chive On's" during our classes.  We have a great time and KCCO when things don't go as expected, which is more regular than I'd like it to be!  As with all Field Artllerymen, whenever we have a live fire shoot we get a bang out of it.  The pictures of the powder burning looks like it is at night, but the powder burns so hot and so bright that everything else is dark.  You can't stand within 50 feet of it because of the heat.    Thanks, KCCO
