Friday Firepower with a user submit from Marine Infantry 3/6 (33 Photos)

My name is Daniel. I am an Infantry Marine. I have been on two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. The attached pictures are named where they are from. Both deployments to Iraq were with 3/6 and were in the Al Anbar province. We operated along the Syrian border in Aug 2005 through March 2006 where we participated in Operation Steel Curtain and near the Euphrates river in between Ramdi and Fallujah from Jan 2007 through Aug 2007. In Afghanistan I was with 3/7 and we operated in the Sangin district, in the Helmand province. We were on the outskirts of the Green zone, in the desert are known as the brown zone. This was Sept 2011 through April 2013. My 8 man squad lived with 44 Afghani soldiers as an Embedded Training Team.
