UK-based artist Bruce Munro created an awesome light installment entitled Field of Light. Consisting of over 5,000 light bulbs, each of the illuminated orbs are threaded with fibre optic cables and stand atop an acrylic stem.

Located near the Swedish village of Harads, this UFO treefort is one of a kind. For a mere $650 a night you too can have the UFO experience. Seems a little steep to me but there really is no substitute for being in a state of blissful geeky euphoria.

The contemporary hipster as we know it is dying. Most have grown up a bit and finally looked at themselves in a mirror, some realized that Pabst Blue Ribbon is skunked swill, others grew tired of dressing for Halloween everyday. Today, we look back on the fad that was the hipster. Anybody left wearing velcro high tops or using a bowling bag as a man purse is lumped into the douchebag category.
